In writing this blog my hope is to share the connection we feel with India and it's people. I am going to give brief profiles and pictures of Nisar and Ranjana and each child to portray what know and love about each of them. I have been slow to keep this blog current but would like to share the ongoing relationship we share. And to our contributors, we and Nisar, Ranjana, and the children, thank you for your love,prayers, financial support, care, and help to them as they share God's love with those in need. If at anytime you would like to write to them, just send your letters to us at India Orphans Fund, PO Box 1523, Woodland, Wa 98625 We will be glad to forward your letters to them. Letters arrive in a reasonable amount of time.Packages can take up to 3 months to arrive, and are subject to inspection and content removal by airport personnel. many things are confiscated not due to illegality but personal interest of those inspecting. Postal fees to India are outrageous and we have learned thru trial and error, that it is best to provide Ranjana with the funds to purchase any items we would like her to buy for the children or orphanage.The financial exchange rate between dollars and rupees remains very good. Also we correspond by email and send photos via the internet.
